Your landscapes call in all of the senses. Your portfolio should reflect that.

Photography for Landscape Professionals

You’re covered in dirt and sweat. Installation day went beautifully, the curated design was placed with intention and care. You water everything in, sweep the sidewalk, clean up the plastic containers, and pull out your phone to document the result.

PFFFFTTTT.

Why does it look so messy? So small? So NOT LIKE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE?!

Believe me, it happens to everyone. I’m newer to landscape design and installation, but have been a professional photographer for fifteen years. The key is light, intention, skill, and working with a pro who can really reflect the feeling behind your design, not just use a cell phone camera at any time of day. Just as anyone off of the street can walk into a plant store, buy the same plants you can procure, and theoretically create a landscape design, the skill, experience and knowledge that you bring to that process is what makes you a professional, and your landscapes really sing.

Investing with a professional photographer who also understands plant growing habits and design will yield a portfolio that you can lean on for decades.

Shoots are available a-la-carte, or on a seasonal schedule. I highly recommend choosing a few of your pride and joy landscapes, and shooting them seasonally, to demonstrate how they change throughout the year.

We can also incorporate photojournalistic style images of your team working, headshots, and group shots, as desired.
